How the grind actually works.

Sourcing

For news, we prioritize original sources: publisher and developer announcements, official blogs, platform newsrooms, press releases, and official social or video channels. When a story relies on an external source, we name it and link to it in an Original Source section on the article. Linking to a company does not imply that company's endorsement or affiliation.

Features, reviews, and other original editorial content are not required to carry an external source, since the reporting or opinion is our own.

Fact vs. rumor

We say plainly what is confirmed and what isn't. Unconfirmed reports are labeled as such, not written to read like an announcement.

Independence

Coverage decisions are not for sale. If we're ever given early access, a review copy, or a press trip, and it's relevant to a piece, we'll say so in it.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and say what changed. A corrected article shows an updated timestamp; substantial corrections are noted in the piece itself. Send corrections through the contact page with the article title and what needs a second look.

Demo and preview content

While this site is running in preview mode, its articles are clearly fictional demo content, not real reporting, and are marked and excluded from search indexing accordingly. Any AI-generated artwork used during this period is disclosed as such rather than presented as official art. None of it should be read as a real announcement, claim, or endorsement involving any actual company, product, or person.
